This trip in we had a bacon cheeseburger and classic cheese burger with fries. A Hexaginia and 805 draft beers. We sat outside amidst the beautiful trees and foliage. Everything was SO GOOD!! We LOVE this place!! And the staff!! They do have EXCELLENT PIZZA!!

We’re vegetarians. We ordered their specialty vegetarian pizza with pesto sauce it was really very good. We had taken two burgers Swiss cheese and mushroom with bean patty , they were awesome too. Along with these we’d side salad with pesto dressing that was great as well. We’ve been to nearby places many times and this place stands out with vegetarian options plus taste.

Not many places in the area around Lassen Volcanic National Park. The fries were really good. We also ordered pizza which was nice … on the greasy side , but very tasty. Definitely worth the stop. A bit pricey but not much different than many places today with economy. We will likely be going back for lunch.

Pizza was fabulous! Wings were the real deal as well. Loved that I was able to order carryout and sit at the Saloon and have a couple brews while I waited.

Pizza, burgers, fried shrimp and fish& chips. Good fries. Excellent onion rings. Forgot to change the kind of cheese on my sandwich unfortunately. Noisy when lots of people are there but not terrible. Bar room attached with pool table and several TVs and high-top tables.

This is one of the few food options close to Lassen Volcanic National Park. We got there a bit before 6pm the Saturday of Labor Day weekend, and had to spend a couple of minutes even looking for a parking spot - ultimately had to park on a dirt patch along the 44 freeway with a dozen cars having already done so before us. My friend had a salad, and we shared a large sized combo pizza. Asked them to replace salami with broccoli, which they were happy to comply with. The pizza was good but definitely very greasy. There were enough leftovers to make breakfast the next morning before another long day of hiking. Service was understandably slow, but the waiter also seemed overwhelmed and confused. Total including tips and taxes came to around 55 bucks, which is pretty decent considering that it made 2 meals for 2 people.

After hiking I stopped at Pioneer Hillside Pizza and am glad I did. I was craving some jalapeño poppers and pizza and they had both. So good! Then got a beer and listened to live music on the porch. Great evening.
